Educational Development  

Baba Foundation is committed to enhancing educational access for children from below-poverty-line backgrounds in marginalised areas of Maharashtra. We believe that education has the potential to eradicate illiteracy, ignorance and poverty from society and every child should receive equal opportunity of education. Understanding the situation of those children lacking access to unhindered education due to their families’ we provide essential educational materials such as books, notebooks, and school uniforms. Our primary goal is to ensure a seamless educational journey for these children, making sure no child is left behind in their pursuit of knowledge and literacy despite their families’ financial struggles.

Blood Donation Camps

Baba Foundation also organizes blood donation camps to address the critical need for blood and save lives. Thousands of deaths occur annually in India due to blood scarcity. To combat this issue, we conduct multiple blood donation camps across Kolhapur. Collaborating with NGOs, reputable hospitals, and healthcare professionals, we aim to alleviate the blood shortage crisis. We extend heartfelt gratitude to our committed members and generous donors, whose support makes these camps successful and provides hope to those in dire situations.

Helping the Helpless 

We believe that serving people is serving God. Driven by this principle, we actively assist those in need, whether it’s financial, medical, or educational support. To date, we have reached out to hundreds of individuals, providing essential aid and hope. Our commitment is unwavering as we strive to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who require assistance. We remain dedicated to being there for every person in need.

Appreciation and Recognition

Social workers are the ones who make society believe in humanity. They work tirelessly for society’s welfare without any personal gain. It is important to recognise and appreciate their efforts. To do so, we organise a felicitation program where we invite esteemed social workers from our community and honour them with awards. Their presence brings the program to life as they share their inspiring stories and experiences in social welfare work. Our main goal is to encourage others to get involved in social activities and dedicate themselves to the betterment of humanity.

Blanket and Warm Clothes Distribution

In rural, marginalised areas, people often struggle with the cold during winter. To address this, we take responsibility for distributing warm clothes and blankets to provide comfort and protection from the harsh winter temperatures. Our efforts aim to shield them from illnesses caused by the cold and ensure they stay warm throughout the season. By supplying these essential items, we hope to alleviate their struggles and bring some relief during the chilly months.

Orphan Care

Baba Foundation is supporting children who have lost their parents or are living without them. We provide essential support, including meals, clothing, education, and healthcare. Additionally, we enroll these children in orphanages where they receive a nurturing, homely environment and comprehensive care. Our goal is to ensure that these children thrive despite their challenging circumstances, offering them the stability and support they need to build a hopeful future.

Old Age Care

The neglect and abandonment of elderly individuals is a serious issue. To address this, we provide essential support such as shelter, food, medical care, and clothing. In cases where elders escape their homes to escape unbearable situations, we also work to reconnect them with their relatives. Our mission is to ensure that these individuals are treated with the respect and care they deserve, making society more livable and compassionate for them.

Covid Support

The global Covid-19 outbreak devastated many lives. People lost their jobs leaving them unable to meet daily needs. In response, we distributed essential rations and grocery items to affected families during this critical time. Our efforts aimed to alleviate their immediate hardships and provide crucial support during the time of challenges brought on by the pandemic.
